I led a discovery engagement with an early-stage startup exploring how managers and reports navigate career growth together. Through research, workshops, and prototyping, we uncovered where trust and alignment break down, and tested whether the concept was worth pursuing.
Problem
Managers and reports often lacked a shared way to talk about growth and promotions, leading to confusion, uncertainty, and missed alignment.
Outcome
Delivered a validated prototype and research insights that helped the founder better understand the opportunity, clarify user needs, and decide what was worth pursuing.
Though the product didn’t move forward, the work helped clarify both the opportunity and the risks before larger investment. For an early-stage concept, that kind of learning was the outcome.
